"Good van, but the deposit was a bit stressful"
The van was fine overall, and picking it up was straightforward, so no real complaints there. The staff were friendly enough and explained most of what I needed to know. I guess the only thing that put me off a bit was the deposit. It was a large amount, and it took longer than I expected to come back, with not much communication in the meantime. I did get it back eventually, but I found myself checking a lot and getting a bit stressed about it. I’d maybe use them again, but I’d definitely want the deposit process to be explained more clearly next time

"Super easy pickup and drop-off"
We picked up our van from roadsurfer and the location worked out really well for us, it wasn’t far from public transport and it was easy to find on maps so we didn’t have that annoying extra stress at the start of the trip. Dropping it off was just as simple, quick and no hassle, and it made everything feel way easier than I expected, I’d definitely use this spot again.

"Pretty Easy Booking Experience"
I booked a camper on Roadsurfer and the whole thing was kinda simple and straightforward. The dates, pickup location, and prices were all clear, and I didn’t run into any confusing steps or random extra pages. I also liked being able to see the options before paying. The confirmation came through quickly too, so overall it’s been really smooth so far. Hopefully the trip goes just as well.

I had a small scrape and insurance ended up covering it without any hassle. Support was relaxed and easy to deal with, and I didn’t get hit with any weird extra costs. That said, I’d still warn others to read the fine print and keep records of everything, just in case your situation doesn’t go as smoothly.

"Pretty straightforward overall"
It’s been good overall, like there weren’t any weird surprise fees or anything like that, which I really appreciated. I just kind of wish the deposit process was a little clearer, you know, because I had to figure a few things out as I went.

We picked up our camper from roadsurfer my gut feeling was good right away. Everything went smoothly from the start. The guy at the desk was friendly and explained the basics in a way that didn’t feel overwhelming or confusing. The van was clean, ready on time, and the check-in was quick. We had a small question about the gas, and they helped us out right away. Overall, it just felt like an easy, solid start to the trip.

"Booking felt weirdly frustrating"
I tried booking a van through the website, but it kept freezing and randomly sending me back to previous pages. The filters were confusing too, and it made me wonder if something was off with the site. After about 20 minutes of fighting with it, I just gave up. Really not a great online experience

"I don’t expect instant replies, but when…"
I don’t expect instant replies, but when it takes a while to hear back, I at least expect a clear answer. Unfortunately, the responses were slow and didn’t really address my questions. It just made the whole process more frustrating than it needed to be.

The van worked well enough and got us where we needed to go, but I was a bit disappointed with the kitchen gear. It felt basic, and I wish there had been a little more thought put into it.

"Quick help when we really needed it"
We got a flat just outside Lyon and had to call roadsurfer assistance. It took a little while to get through at first, but once everything was approved, they sent someone out quickly. He got the tire fixed and we were back on the road that same evening, which was such a relief. Really appreciated the support, and I’d definitely feel comfortable using roadsurfer again

I had a good experience overall. The bed was really comfortable, which made it easy to relax and get a good night’s sleep. The seats were okay too, not amazing, but definitely fine for what I needed.

"Camper Felt Fresh Right Away"
We picked up our camper and it was really clean inside. Even the little details stood out, like the fridge being wiped down and the bathroom actually looking fresh. "Refund feels like it's stuck in some mystery vault"
I returned the van and was told the refund would be sorted soon, so I figured that was that. But now it’s been weeks and I’m still chasing them, getting the same vague replies like there’s some secret refund department hiding behind a curtain. it’s starting to feel like they make it slow on purpose hoping people just give up. Really frustrating and not at all what I expected. I definitely won’t be booking again if getting your money back turns into a whole investigation

"Simple, Fair, and Stress-Free"
I rented the van the whole mileage thing was way easier than I expected. The policy was clear right from the start, so I could actually plan my trip without constantly stressing over every mile. When I brought the van back, there were no weird surprise charges or awkward explanations, which was a relief. Super simple and fair experience overall. I’d definitely book again.
